Paying for Parking: Stone Harbor no longer accepts cash payments for parking fees. Parking fees are paid via the ParkMobile App. ParkMobile can be found in both Google and Apple App stores. Download the App! If you do not have a smart phone or the ParkMobile App, you can pay for parking by phoning the ParkMobile Service Line (877-727-5304) when you park your vehicle, at which time you can pay using a credit card over the phone. Avalon and Stone Harbor beach tags are available for purchase online, at pre-season prices! Both towns have partnered with tag manufacturer Jersey Cape Tags, making it easy to acquire your tags in advance of the season. PURCHASE

Start: 32nd Street and Dune Drive – North to Veterans Plaza
American Legion Post #331 (Stone Harbor/Avalon) and the Borough of Avalon present the Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 27th. The parade steps off promptly at 9:00am at 32nd Street and Dune Drive and proceeds north to Veterans Plaza, located at 21st Street and Dune Drive. The parade takes approximately 40 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Many Avalon civic and charitable organizations are part of the parade along with Post members and Avalon elected officials.

Stone Harbor’s Memorial Day Parade begins at noon going north from 99th Street and Third Avenue; then proceeds east down 96th Street – leading to the Women’s Civic Club on 96th Street and the beach, where a Memorial Day Ceremony will be held.

Join us in our annual tradition of the Stone Harbor Beach Opening Ceremony and Color Run! Opening Ceremony takes place on 95th Street beach. Color Run begins at 10 am; registration from 9:00 am – 9:45 am. First 200 participants get a free t-shirt! Fun Run course is from 95th Street to 110th Street, and back.

The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites you to “come out of your shells” and join the fun of the 23rd Annual Stone harbor Turtle Trot 5K Race and Two-Mile Fun Walk!The Turtle Trot has become a Memorial Day Weekend tradition for many runners, families and beach-loving outdoor enthusiasts! Stone Harbor’s beautiful Diamondback Terrapins crossing the town’s roads in search of an area to nest inspired the name of our race, and we will, once again, be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Diamond Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute. On the beach at Rio Grande Avenue, Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Festivities following the Unlocking of the Ocean include opening of the Kite Sales Tent, Friday Night Social via the local kite club and the 9:00 p.m. Illuminated Night Kite Fly.
Saturday includes the Silent and Loud Auctions (open to all); and Saturday and Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, team flying, as well as family games from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Exhibition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.
